  • Does Lip Plump hurt?

Our injector will make sure you are nice and numb before receiving this treatment so you will feel minimal discomfort!

  • How long does a lip plump last?

A Lip Plump treatment  will naturally be broken down and metabolized by your body, and the length it lasts depends on just how quickly your body metabolizes the product. On average, a Lip Plump treatment performed with Juvederm filler usually lasts 10-18 months.

  • Any downtime after treatment?

Everyone is different- some clients have no effects and others who tend to bruise and swell. It really depends on each individuals body.

Hylauronic Acid  fillers are used,   which is what makes them plump. It is totally normal if you experience swelling post treatment.

Your lips may be swollen for a few days, up to a week after your injections. It may be something that you will notice, but most other people won’t. A week after your injections you will really be able to see your true results.  People who are prone to bruising may notice bruising on or around the lips after injections. Stay hydrated, and avoid Ibuprofen and alcohol before your appointment.

  • Do I have to use the whole syringe?

If you do not want to use the whole syringe,  it is still the full price. Once a syringe is open, it can not be saved as it can easily be contaminated with bacteria. Any unused filler must be discarded of.

Keep in mind that very few treatments require less than the full syringe.

  • Who is the injector?

Jennifer Graham NP provides Botox?Xeomin, dermal fillers and PDO threads at Beauty Bar Med Spa. Jennifer has been a nurse practioner since 2010 with advanced training in aestheics, specializing in injections.

  • Should I do anything before treatment?

To minimize your chances of bruising, we recommend avoiding ibuprofen, alcohol and blood-thinning medications for 3 days before your injections.
